Surf and Turf. Setting is 10 stars, including service well above par. The caveat: I am a vegetarian and this restaurant is for seafood and meat lovers. Consider the growth of mindful eating in the USA, including many who have chosen to maintain a Vegetarian or vegan diet. Restaurant owners in the niche category must be mindful of this important demographic. I was a marketing director for a farm to table restaurant and know how challenging owning a restaurant can be in this age of the instant review (see social media). It is critical that each restaurant owner consider the Vegetarian/Vegan diner when planning a menu. This restaurant has a veg burger as most do. The Veg burger is very good. My mother loves this restaurant and always hosts visitors at the Boatyard Grill. Very nice interior with great views of inlet and Cayuga Lake. A long, beautiful bar, separate from the dining rooms and outdoor dock seating (warmer weather). This location is on a scenic Finger lake but folks still enjoy ocean fish, scallops, Atlantic Salmon and crab legs prepared to perfection. All cuts of beef available. What dishes do they have for vegetarians? Tasty Eggplant with Arrabbiata sauce and a host of salad (entree size). My advice for Vegetarians and Vegans eat something before you go with family and friends. This is a special occasion location for all the usual suspects (weddings, graduations, office Holiday party). Great location for Surf and turf in a gorgeous setting.

From efficient seating to extremely friendly staff this place has it all. Food was well prepared. Large restaurant, but well staffed. It is higher end on price, but worth it. Outdoor seating available. Parking is quirky because their parking spaces are limited. They did offer a golf cart shuttle to and from your vehicle.

Atmosphere, staff, flavor, portions, pricing are all FANTASTIC. Not one single complaint about TBG!!! The clam chowder is one of the best I've had, and I've had a lot from all over the country including Boston, NY, San Fran. The calamari was AMAZING. The shrimp stuffed with clam was excellent, and they even replaced the asparagus with mashed potatoes at no charge... And they were amazing potatoes! Wood fired chicken pasta was creamy and delicious. We even spilled our drink and the waitress replaced it at no charge... Now that's EXCELLENT service! I love love LOVE The Boatyard Grill!

It is tucked away from the road a bit which gives it a nicer and more relaxed vibe. It is right on the water for great outdoor summer eating. The food is delicious and fair priced, especially considering it is a bit more upscale. The New England clam chowder was perfect. The coconut shrimp are few in quantity, but big in size and taste. The Loaded Sheppards Pie is ridiculously good. It looks small, but it is packed with steak. You will not be disappointed. Our server was on point and sweet as pie too. You can't ask for a better experience.

A nice venue with decent food and great view. Food: Pretty good. My swordfish steak was cooked well and my wife enjoyed her shrimp and grits, which had chunks of meat in addition to the shrimp. Portions are really small and prices are high though. The two items and a soda cost us about $40. Not unreasonable, but we both left hungry. Decor: Really nice inside. Nautical themed, lots of wood. Restaurant is next to the water, but you can't really see it from some of the tables because they keep a huge party tent up on the patio. Service: Prompt, polite and professional. Table next to us was demanding a comp on his $50+ meal because their entrees came out before they finished the last bite of his appetizer. Both the waitress and manager were calm and cheerful as he complained about his entire day being ruined because he felt rushed to eat his last egg roll. This is while simultaneously dealing with huge a bridal shower on the patio. They get an extra star for this.
